Advanced Search Options
Boolean Searches: use of AND, OR. Use the radio buttons above to enable these search options.
Wildcard Searches: use of *, ?, eg. protect* and plan?. An asterisk ('*') represents any number of characters, while a question mark ('?') represents any single character.
Exact Phrase Searches: use of double quotation marks, eg. "sustainable development". This search will return pages where this phrase appears, but not where each word appears separately. Note: exact phrase search can be combined with wildcard searches, but wildcards within exact phrases are not supported, eg. ("sustainable development" environ*), but not ("sustainable development environ*").
Exclusion: use of -, eg. bird -woodpecker will retrieve all pages with the word 'bird', but not the word 'woodpecker'.
